What is Truth 4 Rohingya?

We extend a warm welcome to you as we go through a journey of truth, love, and hope through the mission movement known as Truth 4 Rohingya. Founded on April 25th, 2019, this movement was started from the vision of James Tahiyat, a devoted Rohingya Muslim who found Christ in his twenties. His life was forever changed, and out of that transformation came a deep desire to share the salvation, hope, love, and eternal truths found in Christ with his fellow Rohingya people.

The mission of Truth 4 Rohingya is dedicated to spreading the goodnews of Christ's love and redemption among both the young and elderly Rohingya, particularly in Bangalore, India.

The words of Jesus in John 8:32, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," serve as a guiding principle for this mission, reflecting the belief that true freedom comes through knowing Christ.

Rooted in the love of God, Truth 4 Rohingya is committed to revealing the hope of Christ to the Rohingya, who have often lived in hopeless circumstances. The movement seeks to touch lives through a variety of outreach efforts, including Sunday Schools, Bible studies, and prayer programs that nurture spiritual growth. Additionally, it addresses the practical needs of the community by providing education for both the younger and older generations, offering food, clothing, and shelter, and assisting in job placement to help improve their living conditions. This mission is not merely about meeting physical needs but also about guiding hearts towards spiritual renewal and growth.

Through faith and the grace of God, Truth 4 Rohingya aspires to be a beacon of light in the midst of darkness. The movement's ultimate goal is to guide the Rohingya people towards the everlasting truths found in Christ, offering them a path to freedom, peace, and joy.
